Greetings to fellow wildlife neighbors!
Happy November to all, and sending all the best thoughts out to you as you support the wildlife and humans in your neighborhood.
As you can probably tell, this is a slow roll-out to a community of practice that supports wildlife on a very local scale, i.e., neighborhoods. A number of folks have signed on to receive a newsletter, but we’re still hoping for a movement of people to kick start this activity in hundreds or thousands of localities and bring about change for a myriad of species in need of our help.
What you can do:
Send us details and pictures of what you are doing in your neighborhood to support wildlife. Check out the form on this site for some suggestions, and fill out the form if you’re interested. Please send photos, suggestions, questions, etc. We’d love to highlight your projects on this site!!
Spread the word!
Take a first step to talking with your neighbors about how to become a neighborhood for wildlife. It doesn’t have to be formal! Let’s just get as many neighborhoods as possible moving in this direction.
We really believe this effort can move the needle on wildlife conservation, as well as bring neighbors together for common cause and a better world.
Let’s go team!!
Your conservation neighbor,
Carole
